MAHWAH, NJ June 17, 2016 — Rockland Electric Company’s Community Response Team (CRT) and the Franklin Lakes Office of Emergency Management hosted a joint tabletop emergency response drill Wednesday at the Franklin Lakes Volunteer Ambulance Corps building on Bender Court.
Other municipalities participating in the drill were: Mahwah, Allendale, West Milford and Oakland.
Rockland Electric’s CRT, in cooperation with local emergency management officials, periodically conducts these exercises. The goal of the drill is to update all participants in the most current procedures and processes employed by municipal emergency services and Rockland Electric to enhance successful coordination during an actual event response.
